Madison Botos
Madison Botos makes long strides going into journalism, along with cross country. Botos decided to become a journalist when some of her older friends told her how much fun they had. Botos plans on going into broadcasting. Her favorite part of being in journalism is all of the fun discussions she gets to be a part of. Being involved in cross country, basketball, track and softball, she is very active. Cross country is one of her favorites and said, “I hate the running part but I love being a part of the team and doing fun things with them.” Most people would describe Botos as very kind and fun. Botos is most proud of the story she wrote about an arm wrestling match in the classroom. Her plan after high school is to attend college to study something in the medical field. When not focused on journalism or sports, her attention is on her TV watching Netflix. Botos said, “I am very glad I joined journalism because it has helped my communication skills and my writing abilities. It has encouraged me to read the news and pay attention to what is going on around me.”
