Kolby Parrott
Kolby Parrott found his love of journalism when he took the Intro to Journalism class his sophomore year. According to Parrott his favorite part of journalism is when he can capture stories from behind a camera. He has taken many pictures of many events. His favorite hobby is skateboarding where he has learned many tricks including the tray flip, which took him nearly 4 years to learn. His struggle learning the trick taught him more than just the trick itself, it also taught him the hard-working attitude that he shows in journalism. When he is not working on journalism he enjoys watching the cartoon series "Family Guy." Parrott’s favorite dining establishment in Atlantic is Plaza Azteca. With his wealth of knowledge Parrott’s favorite way of getting rid of hiccups is holding his breath. When asked how long, he said, “Until they stop.” If he had all of the money in the world Parrott would love to travel to Japan to see the dojos and karate.
