Kennedy Goergen
You don’t see Kennedy Goergen very often outside of the field, gym, or track. In her free time, she enjoys focusing on her sports, especially her favorite softball. Goergen is a pitcher and left fielder for the Atlantic Softball team. She enjoys “helping younger kids with pitching and watching my cousins follow in my footsteps for their love for softball.” Goergen's favorite memory of all time is the last play before they made it to state in softball. “I remember everything like it was yesterday and don’t think I can ever forget that moment, it was incredible.” Outside of sports Goergen loves “cuddling” with her two shih tzu’s, Jordy and Leia. Jordy has some extra weight on her which “makes her the cuter pup.” Goergen found out she was interested in Journalism early on in her life. Once she first got her pups she always would have photoshoots for them with her friends. “I’ve always loved to take photos on trips and just for fun.” Her Aunt Kim has influenced her love for photography the most because “she is always taking photos.”
