Haylie Handel
Haylie Handel, a sophomore at Atlantic High School has been involved in softball, choir, show choir, journalism and dance.  In her free time she likes to hang out with friends to cope with the stress of school. As Handel is starting her second semester of journalism, she enjoys taking pictures a lot as well as “interacting with others.”  Handel plans on staying in journalism throughout high school and even minoring in it in college. She chose to become involved because her sister said it was really fun and encouraged her to try it. “I’m glad [I did] because it’s a lot of fun to report on what happens in our school,” Handel said.  In the future, Handel would like to work on yearbook with subjects such as sports or art pages. After high school Handel hopes to go to medical school and settle down in a bigger city.
