Dani Mathisen
Dani Mathisen, a sophomore has been planning on where she wants to go to college and what she wants to do since eighth grade. She wants to go to a community college and get her GEN ed and then move on to ISU to major in accounting or nursing. She became interested in journalism because she knew she “could take photos in journalism.” but she says she’s more interested in writing currently. She would like to be an editor or be on the yearbook staff. Her favorite story that she has written is the story of Jennifer Muzney’s banquet. If Mathisen owned a restaurant, it would serve burgers and chicken strips because “That’s all I ever eat when I go out.” She also enjoys running in her free time, and during the holidays she enjoys watching “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Something Mathisen has believed for way too long is “Nanny McPhee was going to come attack me.”
