Many students carry water bottles during school. But some still rely on the water fountains.
Junior Cal Hueton said the best water fountain in the school is “upstairs in the weight room.” He likes it because “It’s cold.”
In addition to the fountain in the weight room, there are two more in the mezzanine at the top of the stairs.

On the main floor of the school, junior Kody Hansen prefers the fountain by Spanish teacher Dan Vargason’s room. He said he likes it because a lot of water comes out. He said he found out about this fountain because “it’s right there in the hallway.”
Some fountains are more hidden, such as the one junior Cal Hueton prefers in “Coach Ross’s hallway” (by the phys ed locker rooms). Hueton found out about it from his participation in sports. Hansen’s favorite fountain is less hidden and is in “K-Hanz’s Hallway” otherwise known as the English hallway.
Jez Phippen’s favorite water fountain is in the multipurpose room. When asked why it was the best one he said “During wrestling practice, its like Heaven.”
When the AHS custodian Bryan Ihnken was asked if he had any problems with the fountains he said “No, except for the kids turning the spigot.” Ihnken said “Don’t have a clue,” when asked about how much one would cost. According to an online school water fountain source, cost of a water fountain online is around $400-$2000.
