The AHS music and FCS departments continue to prepare for the Madrigal Dinner to be held on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 2 at 5 p.m.
Jennifer Gaessar, the choir teacher, says the Madrigal Dinner is an evening of food and performance based off of the Renaissance time. There will be singing, acting, and a 3-course dinner. All choir classes at Atlantic High School will be performing.
Former Atlantic High School student Mark Jacobsen is working on the set and scenery. The Foods 2 classes will be making the dinner. It will be held in the Atlantic High School cafeteria. Last year teacher Luke Johnson started the event, and Gaessar wants to make it a tradition and will continue doing it.
On the week of Nov. 12, posters were put up around the town so people can know about it. It was also advertised on the radio station. You can get tickets for $20 in the choir room.
