Pizza ranch employs several different high school students. New employees are paid $7.25 an hour. Like any other job, pay raises are available. Shifts tend to last five or six hours depending on the shift and how busy the store is. There are various tasks that each person has to do every night. When employees are on chicken, they make the chicken and potatoes. When an employee is on pizza, they make pizza, cheese sticks, and dessert pizza. When an employee is on front, they take orders and clean up tables. All of the high school students that work at Pizza Ranch are trained on one if not more of these stations. Students are not allowed to work as delivery drivers. Pizza Ranch usually only hires at the end of the summer when seniors go to college. To be employed at Pizza Ranch, one must be at least 16 years of age.
