Trojann soccer gets a win in double overtime and shoot out. Atlantic Trojann Soccer played Creston on Monday, May 7, on their home field. The competition went into overtime with a scoreless game. After two rounds of sudden death overtime, each lasting 10 minutes, the teams went into a shoot out.
The Trojann’s goalie, Maren McNees, didn’t let a single goal get passed her. Emily Mitchell, junior, scored the first goal in the shoot out, followed by Ali Hosfelt, a junior from CAM.
Cassie Long, senior, made the third shot which ensured the Trojann’s a victory over the Panthers.
This is the second Trojann win of the season.
The JV squad also came out victorious over the Panthers.
