After taking two tournament crowns last week, the Atlantic Trojan boys’ golf team won their first dual of the season Tuesday night. The Trojans defeated the Denison Monarchs 171-182. Sophomore Evan Schuler led the Trojans and took home the medal honors after shooting a 38. Junior Ben Nelson placed runner-up with a 40.
The dual last night took place at Nishna. The Trojans will be back in action on Thursday against the Clarinda Cardinals at the Atlantic Golf and Country Country Club.
The girls traveled to Denison on Tuesday night. The Trojanns won 203 to 224.
