Prepare for a battle Friday, March 2, when the seniors have the honor of playing in the Iron Man volleyball championship game against the teachers. The game will be played during seminar.The teachers that will be playing are Luke Johnson, Jess Ehrman, Nick and Natalie Ross, Tina Franken, Nick Hackman, Tim Duff, Kathy Blazek, and Jeremy Blake.
According to Blake, he and Luke Johnson are considered the ‘“twin towers.” He also stated that having the “twin towers” on the team will make it impossible for the seniors to get anything past them. Blake’s weakness is that he can’t serve because he is “just too strong.”
Tim Duff admitted to a weakness, also. He said he can’t jump.
The seniors that will be playing are Branden Ballinger, Derek Stork, Ethan Westering, Austin Conrad, Ryan McDermott, Anthony Robinson and Rob Nichols. The coaches for the seniors are Paige Kennon and Taylor Barry.
Westering said the seniors plan on “attacking [the teachers’] weaknesses.”
The seniors are hyped up and ready to take on the teachers.
