The seniors defeated the juniors 21-16 in the student championship of the annual Ironman Volleyball Tournament, to earn a spot in the Student vs. Faculty school championship on Friday.
The school championship is scheduled during seminar on Friday.
“All of our success has come through hard-work, dedication, and the motivation from our haters,” senior Ethan Westering said.
Senior Ryan McDermott also commented, “All though we didn’t practice much, our teamwork was enough, and I look forward to facing the teachers.”
The seniors defeated the sophomores and the juniors defeated the freshman in semifinals immediately preceding the student championship.
The freshman beat the sophomores in the third-place match.
