Junior Emily Jacobsen, who will be singing a solo and playing a percussion instrument, said she’s nervous about her solo. “It’s a little difficult to multi task by playing drums & singing at the same time.“
Choir teacher Luke Johnson commented about the concert saying, “We are proud to show our growth as an ensemble to ourselves and to the audience.” Johnson explained that the concert was starting early at 6:30 “to accommodate our Premiere students who will have to leave in the morning for show choir.”
The Premiere show choir will travel to Sioux City on Saturday to compete at Bishop Heelan High School. They will be competing against Westwood, Lewis Central, Bishop Heelan, Pella, and Ralston.
