The Glenwood Rams defeated the Atlantic Trojanns 75-33, Wednesday night in the first round of class 3A regional basketball action.
The loss ends the Trojanns season. Atlantic’s season concludes with a record of 4 wins and 16 losses.
Mackenzie Holmes paced the Trojanns with 14 points.
This was the third time the Trojanns were defeated by the Rams this season.
“I only said one thing after the game to our girls. All you can control in life or in basketball are your attitude and effort. The only one who knows how you’re doing with that is yourself,” coach Casey Pelzer said after the game to the Atlantic News-Telegraph “If you know in your heart that you gave everything you had and you kept your attitude in check, you can be at peace.”
