Tonight the eighth-ranked Atlantic Trojans are hosting the Lewis Central Titans. It is a Hawkeye Ten conference match-up. The Trojans are on a 10-game winning streak which started after they lost to Lewis Central on Jan. 3. That loss is Atlantic’s only conference loss.
On Tuesday night, the Titans beat Kuemper Catholic (78-71). The Trojans beat the Cyclones in a stunning come-back win in overtime (71-69). Dalton Franken was the leading scorer for the Trojans with 23 points, Blake Esbeck and Chad Christensen both had 14. The varsity tips off at 7:30 at the Atlantic High School.
Students are wearing old-school Trojan gear to the game.
