A hand-crafted family-size picnic table made by AHS students is for sale for $250. The table was made last semester by Derek Bair’s Manufacturing Technology class.
Bair said senior Anthony Lucas came up with the idea on the Internet. Students learned basic craftsman and process skills while making the table.
Looking ahead to next year, Bair said he would like to build a few more if the Manufacturing Technology class has a strong demand. The table can be viewed at AHS. Contact Derek Bair if interested.
