On November 19, 2011 four students will be headed to Ames, Iowa for the Iowa All-State Music Festival.
Vocal All-Staters Nora Walker soprano 2, Savannah Hoye alto 1 and Preston Hoye tenor 2 will sing with 597 other students accepted from the state of Iowa according to ihsma.com.
Shelby Cooper, instrumental All-Stater will be performing with the band consisting of 284 other accepted students from Iowa. Cooper will be playing third part clarinet.
Cooper exclaimed, “I’m really honored to be selected for All-State. I’m glad to be going to the performance and I think it’ll be an amazing experience. I’m looking forward to it.”
