The Atlantic boys’ and girls’ cross country teams traveled to Swan Lake in Carroll, Thursday, Oct. 13 to participate in the 2011 Hawkeye 10 conference meet. Senior Ali Krogman took home the girls’ individual crown for the fourth time in as many tries. Krogman is the only runner in the history of the Hawkeye 10 to win the title four times. The girls’ varsity team finished fifth overall with 119 points. The JV finished third with 80 points.

The boys varsity squad was led by senior Blake Esbeck. Esbeck finished tenth overall. The varsity boys team finished fifth with 152 points. The junior varsity squad finished fourth with 95 points.
