Jordan Mauk, AHS Junior, has been hospitalized since Thursday, September 16 with a MRSA staff infection.
To support Mauk, the AHSneedle staff is selling wristbands for $5 each.
The wristbands are black and gold and say “NEVER GIVE UP ~ J. MAUK”.
The idea was generated during first period journalism class.
Journalism students and editors are selling the bands before school and during lunch.
The journalists will also be selling them during Friday night’s football game and Tuesday night’s volleyball game.
According to Mauk, “If all goes well, I may be out by Monday (October 17)”.
