Today Atlantic High School is holding their annual college fair. The purpose of the  fair is to give students the opportunity to learn about numerous colleges and get an idea of all the possibilities. Counselor Heather Turpen said that students can get the most out of the college fair by “setting up questions before hand and going to a lot of [display tables].”

There will be colleges from Iowa, Nebraska, and Missouri represented. Schools from around the area were also invited to come to the college fair. Riverside, Cam, and Avoca are just a few who have been invited to bring students to the fair.

Sophomore Morgan Magers said she wants to look at colleges for nursing. Senior Chris Kinney is going to look at Iowa Western Community College. Junior Cammi Nelson wants to find out which college has the best art and dance program.

The college fair is at the end of the day. Seniors will be dismissed at 2:00, juniors at 2:15, sophomores at 2:45, and freshmen at 3:07.
