At the beginning of third period Friday morning, principal Heather McKay made an announcement regarding AHS junior Jordan Mauk’s status. According to the announcement, Mauk has had a set back. The family has requested no calls, no texts, no visitors at this time. McKay asks that everyone respect the Mauks’ wishes.
McKay’s announcement included this message to students: “If you need to talk with someone, please do not hesitate to come to the guidance office or office. Thank you for your attention and efforts to send positive energy to Jordan and his family.”
