Atlantic Community School District, previous Atlantic High School vice principal Paul Croghan, and three students have reached an out-of-court settlement on a lawsuit regarding a 2009 strip search at Atlantic High School. According to the Omaha World Herald, the district conceded it was liable for invading the girls’ privacy and for violating the state school strip-search law. Under terms of the settlement, neither party is to publicly discuss the terms of the agreement.
