On Tuesday, April 28, the boys golf team beat the Creston Panthers by a slim margin 154-155. It was the Trojans first dual win against Creston in three years.

Leading the team was freshman Ben Renaud. Renaud said, “I was really happy with my round, I knew I had to play well to give the team a chance at winning. I parred my first 7 holes and I muscled out a birdie on my last hole to shoot 1 under.” Renaud’s score of 34 is the lowest score of the season for the boys golf team.

Sophomore, and number one varsity golfer, Jake Olsen entered the clubhouse with a score of 41. After his round he said, “I was happy that Ben played well and got his first win of the season, and it felt good to beat Creston for the first time in my high school career.”

The Trojans met Creston again on Tuesday at a tournament in Atlantic.
