The AHSNeedle staff has requested items that include the agenda, budget reduction details, and a TLC memorandum of understanding in preparation for the board meeting tonight.
The board is scheduled to discuss and vote on various items, possibly reducing up to 650,000 dollars in the budget.
According to the Atlantic News Telegraph, on Friday, District Superintendent Dr. Michael Amstein said budget reductions could come from personnel, activities and “a whole gamut” of issues.
Because these cuts will be voted on tonight, AHSNeedle is asking to see the board packet materials associated with this action item.
The board will also be voting on a memorandum of understanding for the Teacher Leadership and Compensation System. AHSNeedle covered this issue on Friday in this story.
