Call of Duty Advanced Warfare is a first person shooter video game developed by Sledgehammer games and published by Activision. Advanced Warfare is the latest version in a long series of Call of Duty games. There are eleven Call of Duty games total. Advanced Warfare is the first to be developed primarily by Sledgehammer games.

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare was released on Nov. 4. However, they released a day zero edition one day early of the release date on Nov. 3, which offered double XP for the first day and two exclusive guns. Advanced Warfare is available for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4.

The new game is a lot more advanced than all of the other Call of Duty games. It is set in the mid 21st century terrorist attack of nuclear reactors all across the world, putting the governments across the world into complete turmoil. They have hi-tech weapons like explosive drones, and vehicles such as hoverbikes on the game.

Senior Collin Baker said, “Every part of the game is faster.” He also mentioned that he “loves killing kids and making them his little pigs.”

Junior Jackson Wickman said, “I love getting a 360 no scope.” He also mentioned that the game is “uber neato,” and his favorite Call of Duty memory is “drinking and eating game fuel also known as Mountain Dew and Doritos.”

Advanced Warfare received generally positive reviews from critic Josh Harmon from Electronic Gaming Monthly, who gave it a 9/10 and praised it for its campaign storyline for being a “very coherent and welcoming storyline.” As for multiplayer, he said it was the “deepest and the most skill based multiplayer Call of Duty yet.”

You can purchase the new hit game at the local Atlantic Wal-Mart at a price of $56.96.
