Many look forward to Senior Survivor, and the rush it brings of being part of a game show, but sadly it has been cancelled due to the “lack of response from seniors,” which was mentioned in an Email from Junior Student Council representative Stephanie Freund.
For those who don’t know what it is about, Senior Survivor is when multiple seniors stay the night at the school with teacher chaperones, and participate in small activities. Each night one boy and one girl would be “kicked off the island” or sent home. Until finally, only three stand and will compete for first place in an assembly.
However, there was not enough response from the seniors to have a senior survival this TWIRP week. Last year, graduated Jake Auerbach won the week and won the assembly against Caroline Trewet and Diana Perkins. The whole week bonded all the seniors to become closer and greater friends. It has also created great memories and has taught them lessons that they may need in the future. However this year’s seniors won’t be able to gather any of those traits, now that it’s cancelled.
