A recap of the non-conference game Mon. Feb. 17, against the Carroll Tigers showed positive and negative by Atlantic. Trojans led the majority of the first half, but had a rocky third quarter. Struggling to find a rhythm offensively the trojans were outscored 21-4. A last ditch effort by the Trojans in the fourth quarter closed the gap a little but not quite enough. The game ended 68-56.
All the while a positive crowd of about 50 AHS students watched and supported the Trojans in the battle. Teacher Allison Berryhill tweeted “Still standing! #Ahspositive.”
The boys will play their first round of districts Mon. Feb 24. Come support as they battle the Creston Panthers!
All in all the Trojans played pretty well against a number 4 ranked team. Check out candid photos from the night!
