On Friday March first, immediately after school in the library there will be a meeting for all girls and guys interested in tennis. Coach Petersen stresses that, “it is extremely important to be at the meeting if you are interested!” Goals are a necessity when trying to challenge yourself. “My goal is to double my wins from last year,” said junior Alexi Allen. Recruiting freshmen is also something that every team at AHS strives to do. “Do tennis. It is the funnest sport ever,” says Sophomore Reid Nichols. The team is excited for the 2013 season and hopes that new Freshmen and students from all grades who are interested in pursuing tennis, go out for it! The 2012-2013 Trojan/Trojann tennis season will kick off on monday, March 12th.
