The NHS members are preparing to sell Crush-O-Grams for Valentine’s Day. Sales begin on Jan. 30 and end on Feb. 8. NHS adviser Sheila Hayden is in charge of the operation.
A Crush-O-Gram is a can of pop with a personalized note. The note can say whatever it wants as long as it is school appropriate. The buyer can send it to whomever they want, including teachers and custodians, as their treat for Valentine’s Day.
NHS members Kaley Miller and Leah Tjepkes will sell them before school. Sam Markham and Tyler Fischer will be in charge of “A” lunch sales. Hannah Jespersen, Maren McNees, and Lillie Zablocki are in charge of “B” lunch. The Crush-O-Grams will be sold at a price of $2.00.
When asked who is buying a Crush-O-Gram, junior Kelsey Hamilton said, “I am buying one for myself,” while freshman Chad Jones replied with, “What is that?” Grace Jacobs, sophomore basketball manager, saId she is also buying a Crush-O-Gram.
The flavors of pop this year are strawberry and orange. A new rule is in place also. The Crush-O-Grams can not be addressed from an anonymous person due to the confusion caused by this last year.
Valentine’s Day is a day for love. Why not give that special someone a Crush-O-Gram this year?
