By Kristin Johnk

On Thursday, Jan. 30, Chad Christensen officially signed a letter of intent to play baseball with the NIACC (North Iowa Area Community College) Trojans after his senior year.

Christensen said that NIACC was his first choice of where to play baseball. He said baseball has been his passion since Little League, but playing basketball and football have helped him to become a leader.

NIACC’s first-year head coach Travis Hergert said he is impressed with Chad and his hard work. “He will be an impact player for us after he completes his last year in high school here in Atlantic.”
