The polls have been counted, the names have been looked over, and a loop-hole in the voting process has been discovered.
Senior Scott Caslow’s name picks of Hercules and Admiral Ackbar garnered a total of 90 votes. But a bit of undercover investigating reveals that 90 people have NOT voted for those names. Scott Caslow, in an effort to “provide a cushion” voted numerous times to put his choice in the lead. Great going, Scott.
Because AHSneedle failed to specify a one-vote-per-person rule, we have decided to accept the votes and award Scott Calsow the prize of a vintage t-shirt from the Journalism Department.
The runner-up names were Harry and Floyd, nominated by Keaton Wise.
Several people in the journalism lab continue to call the hamster “Kitty” regardless of the outcome.
