An AHS student went missing from his home early Saturday morning, Oct. 13. Local, state, and now national news agencies are covering the story.
According to ABC , AHS junior Corey Sunderman and AMS student Austin Boggs are thought to be travelling with two girls from Shellsburg, Iowa, 15-year-old Jazlyn Visek, and 15-year-old Skie Floyd. Sunderman and Boggs left with $400 cash, and a 1997 gold Jeep Grand Cherokee without license plates.
The news reports contain conflicting information. According to the Des Moines Register, Floyd and Visek left on a planned trip.
The four missing teens may be on their way to Florida for a skateboarding event.
Floyd’s mother said “I know my daughter is scared right now, I’m sure she wants to come home.” KCRG
