Pep bus to Perry

By Sierra Smith

There will be a student pep bus traveling to the Atlantic High School football game in Perry on Friday, if enough students sign up.

Activities Director, Josh Rasmussen, has a bus lined up to transport students an hour and a half to Perry on Oct. 5.  A minimum of thirty students must be willing to pay $5 dollars in order for a bus to be possible.

Hey all you Trojan fans, stand up and clap your hands!

Junior Bailey Walter says the pep bus is a good idea because, “I want to go, but my mom ain’t gonna drive that far.”  The pep bus is a chance for students and friends to go on a ride supervised by teachers to Perry rather than driving over alone to the game.

The bus will leave at 5:30 p.m. Sign up is in the office.  It starts Wednesday morning and five dollars must be provided at sign up if planning to ride.

The bus is for students only, as the football players and cheerleaders already have their own bus. There are about 20 people planning to ride so far. If you still haven’t signed up be sure that gets done by noon today!
