The Atlantic Trojan boys soccer team is off to a good start to the season with a 6-4 record. Atlantic just got second in their yearly Trojan Tournament beating Kuemper Catholic and than losing to the Harlan Cyclones, but the Trojans will look for revenge by playing them tonight, April 27.
The Trojans had a strong win in a physical game against Creston Monday night, but lost a tough fight with Underwood Tuesday night, April 24. The Trojans have also beaten Kuemper, Tri-center, AHST, Nodaway Valley, and Riverside.
Senior Austen Farver said, “If we keep playing as a team, we should keep the winning record.”
Junior Stuart Hoegh is confident going into tonight’s competition. “We’re definitely going to win,” he said.
“We’re pretty even teams skill-wise,” said junior Harrison Hoegh. “Which ever team catches a break will win the game.”
