The Trojans blew the Saint Albert Falcons out of the water Thursday night (Jan. 19) 70-29.
Atlantic started the game on a positive note when Dalton Franken won the tip. Sam Markham scored the first points just nine seconds into the first quarter. The Trojans kept going strong, ending the first quarter with a score of 18-4.
After no made shots for most of the first quarter, the Falcons finally scored with seven minutes on the clock in the second quarter. The Atlantic Trojans did not let that slow them down. The first half ended with a score of 37-15.
The third quarter ended with the Falcons no where close to the Trojans, 48-19.
The St. Albert Falcons played until the final buzzer, but it wasn’t enough. The game ended with a Trojan win, 70-29.
