When it comes to the world of art, many students cringe at the thought of not doing good enough work, especially for the art teacher, Pat Wiederien, also known as Wieda. However, there is at least one student who doesn’t have to have that worry: Caroline Trewet.
When asked about students who surprised her with their talent, Wieda said that it was probably Trewet more than anyone else she has noticed. Trewet was unaware Wieda recognized her talent until notified by the needle.
Trewet is currently taking Drawing 2. Her favorite project she has done is drawing her inhaler at a close up angle. She works on art outside of class, but when she was asked if she had always been interested in art, Caroline said,
“ I really only got into it in high school. Basic art drew my attention and I’ve liked it since then.”
You can check out Caroline’s and many other students’ art work in Wieda’s art room, the library, and the glass cases in the commons.
