The AHS Band will be preforming during the Memorial Day Service on May 30.  The band will be preforming two songs, “The Armed Forces Salute” and “The Star Spangled Banner.”  “I don’t mind it because it’s a good thing we respect the armed forces,” said sophomore Tiffany Brauckmann when asked about how she feels about playing for memorial day service.  Brauckmann plays piccolo in the band.

“I will be there,” freshman Garret McConnell told AHS Needle.  McConnell plays percussion in the band.  Band students are reminded they should be in the Walmart parking lot by 9:30 a.m. ready to preform and to wear a nice shirt with khaki pants.

“I know it’s a good thing to do, but my summer’s full already,” Jessica Askeland, a freshman at AHS and a trombone player in the band, said.
