Pre-prom was cut a little short when everyone bolted for the doors after the senior group pictures. Upon arrival to Grand March, couples lined up in the music hallway and anticipated the big crowd for 15 to 30 minutes. The mood was light and students kept the feel of a party alive with laughter and Mardi Gras-beads.
Deciding what to write on their cards for the announcers was a struggle for some, but in the end most pairs did a good, creative job. The final walk out was a bit hassle, having to hand over the announcement cards when already on stage. The moment of being on stage is a quick and painless thirty seconds, and with the overwhelming excitement of prom, it was a breeze.
