On Jan. 26, 2011 the National Honor Society (NHS) hosted a Red Cross Blood Drive in the Atlantic High School gym.  The donation goal for this blood drive was 100 units of blood, which was surpassed when the school and community donated 125 units of blood for the Red Cross.

Along with the blood donations, the NHS partnered with local businesses and community members to raise money for the Addison Lennon-Glade family.  With these charitable contributions,  $1635.50 was raised to help pay for the child’s hospital bills.
