Dawson Walter looked up to and was inspired by his dad, who pushes him to do his best at everything he does. For one, his dad pushes him to get work on the farm done right and faster. Walter’s dad sets an example for him, and he tries to live up to it and make him proud. He views himself as a kind and loyal person who wants to live up to the goals and expectations his dad sets for him, as his dad continues to push him harder, and to do his best, no matter if it’s at school, sports or on the farm.

Walter plays football, basketball, baseball and golf. Football is his favorite. Walter said the things he is most proud of are, “my accomplishments, gaining friends, getting smarter and being a kind and trustworthy person.” Mr. Miller is his favorite teacher because he likes the way he teaches and acts with students to help them learn and grow. When Walter was younger he wanted to be an NFL player, but as he grew older he started farming and reality hit him so decided that, “I’ve been working on a farm my whole life, and I wanted to keep in touch with it, so I decided to be a diesel mechanic.”

If he had a million dollars, he’d buy a boat so he could hang out with his friends. He hopes that in 10 years he will have a nice house and car, and will be happy and successful. If he has a superpower he would like to fly so he could travel faster and have no limits on where he could go in the world.
