Introducing the fall play

Charity Williams

Kindergarten is remembered as a memory when we played and had the time of our lives. The 2016 fall play is bringing back those memories. This year’s play is about people telling life lessons, funny stories and bringing them back to their younger selves. It is called “Everything I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten.”

Students are beginning to prepare for their auditions. They will be held on Sept. 14 at three p.m. until six p.m., and on Sept 15 at five p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Each student will choose a monologue and dialogue they will perform with a partner, or by themselves in front of the director of the play, Alex Bales. The final cast list will be posted on Sept. 16.

This is Bales’ second year of being in charge of the play, but the first year he will be doing it alone. “I am looking forward to working with students and what they are going to bring to a performance,” said Bales

Everything you need to know about auditioning for the play is in a packet you can find in Bales’ room. If you have any questions, ask Mr. Bales.
