Last Saturday Aug. 27, the Varsity boy’s cross country team traveled to Glenwood for their first meet of the season.

The varsity team was highlighted by senior Phoenix Shadden finishing 3rd running a 17:52:81, freshman Bradley Dennis finishing 4th with a time of 17:54:75, junior Cale Pellett finishing 9th at 18:30:68. The boys racked up a score of 66.

This score helped the boys and girls varsity teams take home Co-Ed meet champions for the first time in a decade. They finished with a total score of 143.

The boys will run next Tuesday, Sept. 6, at Clarinda High School.
