The girls’ golf team finished their regular-season nine-hole matches on without a blemish on their record. Their last nine-hole match was on Thursday, Apr 28  against the Red Oak Tigers, Lewis Central Titans and the Shenandoah Phillies where they won with a score of 171.

Head coach Kathy Hobson was very pleased with the dual season and thought that they had some low scores. Although they played very well, Hobson says they can’t be content, and their is always room for improvement.

Junior Brooke Newell thought it was great that they could go undefeated and really means a lot to her. Brooke had a great year in all her nine hole matches and expects to continue being successful throughout the rest of the season.

Freshman Baylee Newell was excited with how her dual season went and thought it was a big achievement for her freshman year. Baylee has had a good season and hopes to continue to improve as the season starts to wrap up.
