Monday, Apr. 18, the Trojans will be traveling to Des Moines to compete in an 18 hole match. The tournament will be held at Willow Creek Golf Course. The Trojans are currently undefeated, winning their first three duals. Senior Erin Olsen says that there are going to be some good teams at Willow Creek, but she thinks they can handle it. Olsen has been playing very well as of late, and is looking to throw out a low score on Monday. “We’ve been practicing playing 18 holes to prepare ourselves”, says Olsen. Freshman Alyssa Ginther is very confident going into Monday’s tournament. Ginther was medalist last Tuesday in their 9 hole match against the Glenwood Rams with a score of 41. Along with Olsen and Ginther the team has big expectations, and believe the Trojans should win the event.
