Tuesday, April 12, the boy’s and girl’s tennis teams played the Glenwood Rams. The boy’s fell to the Rams 3-6, and the girls lost 0-9.

In singles, #1 junior Jena Brosam lost 3-8, #2 junior Olivia Davis lost 2-8, #3 junior Kyja Arnold lost 0-8, #4 sophomore Heather Freund lost 0-8, #5 junior Carly Westphalen lost 1-8, and #6 junior Alexis Boes lost 3-8.

In doubles, #1 Brosam and Davis lost 1-8, #2 Arnold and Freund lost 4-8, and #3 Westphalen and Boes lost 0-8.

On the boy’s side in singles, #1 sophomore Grant Podhajsky won 10-8, #2 sophomore Cooper McDermott lost 1-10, #3 sophomore Kalob Flory lost 4-10, #4 junior Caleb Williams lost 4-10, #5 sophomore Luke Hohenberger ended with a big win throughout a tough match against Glenwood’s Sean Harper 11-10, and #6 senior William Weppler lost 2-10.

In doubles, #1 Podhajsky and McDermott won 10-7, #2 Flory and Williams lost 4-10, and #3 Hohenberger and Weppler lost 7-10.

Next Tuesday, April 19, the teams both play Denison. The boy’s play at home and the girl’s travel to take on the Monarchs.
