Fall Choir Concert

The Atlantic High School Choir performed a concert Tuesday night at 7:30 at the high school auditorium.

The concert was for the community so anyone can come and watch the choirs sing. There were 3 different groups that preformed that night. The Treble Singers sang “I Remember,” and “Alive”; Diversity sang “The Battle of Jericho,” and Chamber sang “Baba Yetu.” This is just an example of what was preformed that night. The choir was accompanied by Michelle Schuler, who played the piano.

There were two soloists, junior Max Elwood and senior Will Weppler. Sophomore Miranda Chipman and senior Corgan Peterson both played percussion for a few of the pieces Tuesday night.

Choir Director Jennifer Gaesser hoped that the audience of the concert appreciated the variety in the music selections. She said they performed music that will give you a sense of different cultures and music.
