Yesterday, April 23, the girls and boys golf teams played the Clarinda Cardinals. The girls played the Cardinals at home, while the boys traveled to Clarinda.

The girls won 188-205, but the boys lost the Cardinals 164-158. Junior Erin Olsen was a medalist for the Trojans with a score of 42.

Sophomore Jake Olsen said, “I feel like we could’ve played better. We didn’t play very good as a team, but it was good to see the JV and the J-JV get their first wins of the season.”

Sophomore Brooke Newell said, “I feel like I could’ve played better for my team, Erin (Olsen) played really well, McKenna (Den Beste) and Sarah (Fixmer) came through for us and played good too. Mary (Hayes) wasn’t there, so we missed her as well.”
