Technology makes life easier. New to summer school this year is the offering of Roger Warne’s “Summer Technology Internship” for freshmen through juniors. Students can gain 1 AHS credit and gain knowledge on different technology systems. There will be a meeting at 2:00 pm today in the ICN room for more information.

Also this summer, students can attend summer school to recover credits. Sixty contact hours must be made for one AHS credit.

Principal Heather McKay said, “Iowa Learning can be done online but the tests have to be taken with AHS teacher Terry Hinzmann. Due to technology, it will be possible to coach up to four different classes at once. Only one teacher is needed instead of three for the summer school.”

The planning is still in progress, as this year will be structured differently than the years before.
