Today, the wrestling squad will travel up to Red Oak to face the Tigers and the Lewis Central Titans.  The Trojans toughest opponent will be the Titans, as the Tigers do not have much.  This will be their last dual, as the Trojans hope to end their season 17-2.

Senior and 145 pounder Reid Nichols said, “Its kinda sad, wrestling is the only thing I cared about in high school.  I’ve dedicated 16 years of it into my life and it feels weird coming to an end.”

This will also be a last dual for 6 other seniors: Marshal McDermott, Brandon Schmidtke, Austin Williamson, Travis Petersen, Tyler Thomas, and Skyler Svoboda.

For goals after this dual, Nichols said he “hopes to make it to state and place top three.”

The Trojans next tournament will be in Glenwood for the Hawkeye 10 title.
