On Monday, Jan. 5, the Atlantic JV wrestlers traveled to Clarinda for a four man round robin tournament.  The Trojans brought home two first place finishes by freshmen John McConkey and Devin Erickson, along with five runner-ups, two third place finishes, and one fifth place.

“The boys looked like completely new wrestlers,” said head coach Tim Duff. This was the second JV invite of the season. The JV wrestlers have improved greatly between the first two tournaments and are looking for more improvement in the next.

The next JV invitational is to be held on Jan. 17 at Jefferson High.
